Thank you so much for your help. Friargate makes sense as her husband's address was Back Lane. The family seems to have been itinerant and are not settled until the 1871 Census when they live in Swarbricks Court and later Chews Yard. On her marriage certificate Mary Gibson gives her address as Fishwick Yard and occupation Housekeeper which I took to be living at home with her father Thomas (occupation shopkeeper). However I cannot find Thomas in either 1851 or 1861.
I am not being finicky here - but on Lan -opc it states FISHWOOD Yard ...is that a possible or a mistranscription?
