McKillops of Greenock, help please
« on: Friday 27 March 15 23:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi there,
I have recently been sent a scanned copy of an old photo of my great grandfather and his family, (including my grandfather) taken around 1895.
I can do a reasonable amount with photos but this one has me beat. I can't increase the colour without losing the detail. Can anyone help me restore some contrast to it that will still allow me to see everyone clearly and enable me to enlarge it and hang a copy on the wall?

If you can, then many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Christine

Quick one from me
Pixels are everything.
Higher compression is better than less pixels.
Pixels give better detail.
