re: The other 2 Pegg children - Not BritishHomeChildren / BHC
No need to research any of this family, as it 's pretty much completed.
There were several Pegg families from Eng - even another Currie Pegg combo
I am posting my finds because it was still a lot of work to find so little
.. but should also help with their whereabouts for family across the pond.
and to also honour one of those many soldiers of WW1who never returned,
My original searches, re: Amy Pegg were for this pair of siblings;
but luck tapped me on the shoulder & sent me in the right direction.
I thought I'd found a clue here... as well as some Home Children!
But again, these two didn't appear on any homechild listings.
As it turns out the family was well-off, and some siblings ventured out...
1906 Living with Petrie family Saskatchewan/Assiniboia West/ (28)/B
Pegg Wm domestic? age 20 b.1886 Eng imm 1904
Pegg Amy servant age 14 b.1892 Eng imm 1906
I'd found Wm on subsequent census, but no Amy. but that age was way off!

William Joseph Pegg- mother MdnNm Gilbert Richmond Surry June Qtr
Marriage Jun 1876 Windsor a William Joseph Pegg & Georgina Gilbert
but the only birth for a sister after him was a Mabel Winifred Mar Qtr 1888
of which neither name nor age fit that census entry.
But then I found more of this same family in Saskatchewan and Manitoba...
Also looked up nickname "Amy" used in Eng. for Mabel, Amelia & Emily.
So despite the age difference it seems that Mildred (Amy) didn't stay here long,
as in the end, she appears to be on both Sask & U.K. censuses for 1911!!!
