If you Google "the Outspan Magazine" and the click on the Image button on top of the page there are some wonderful covers as well as some reproduced pages of articles.

Pampoen I agree with your comments and thank you for giving another view. It is always too easy to tar every one with the same brush without all the facts.   As I said I did not want to get into a political slanging match, this is not the forum for it nor did it have anything to do with the question asked as you stated.  But I do not appreciate folk who have never lived here presuming to know what goes on or went on................

I have a 1947 Outspan newspaper. Front and back pages torn. pages are yellow. Very interesting and funny.  I would like to sell it, any idea where I could advertise this as a collectible?

A warm welcome to Roots Chat.

As you know I am trying to find where Reginald Jabez Rigby fits into the publication of  Outspan.
Was he the editor, a journalist or a printer ?
Perhaps you can find out from the copy you have.

Look forward to hearing from you

My mothers first husband was James Rigby son of  Reginald  Jabez. So I would be interested in sharing information. You can find details on GENI.
