Gt. Gt. Grandfather Burial Mystery

I have been searching to try and pin point the burial location of my Gt.Gt. Grandfather however unable to even locate the area.

William Green died 7th April 1882, Age 49 at Florence buildings, Deepcar, where I believe he was living.
I know he was married in January 1880 to Rachel Rogers at Penistone St.Johns and the 1881 Census shows residence in Carlcoates, Thurlstone. That sums up basically all I can find out about him.

I have emailed Barnsley Archives as I was wondering if Newspapers might shed some light but struggling to work out my best option.

I would be most grateful for any advice

Have you tried contacting the cemeteries dept at Sheffield council?

They may be able to point you in a direction as you seem to have his exact date and place of death.

Hi,
I saw the death as registered in Wortley.
I had a look for deceasedonline.........
This only gives council information, Burials and Cremations,  he is not listed so he must have been buried in a Church Yard.
Sorry, not much help.

Deepcar Area

In 1859 the St. Ann's Catholic Church was built, followed
