I have been asked to try and help a fellow scouter who has an interest in all things historical to o with scouting mainly in Kent but in the UK too, he has a memory board with loads of interesting stuff on it.
But only the name F J Hunter to go on and that when he got his wood badge he lived in Streatham in 1922/23 I have him all over the world on this board but don't know how old he was or when he dies. I have found other hunters in Ribblesdale road, in the 1911 census and in electoral rolls going right up to 1962 but not this guy.
Has anybody had any luck researching at the national archives on scouting.
