That is odd. The Welsh Regiment battalions went only up to 23rd, with 8th to 19th labelled 'Service' and were mainly recruited from South Wales.. The RWF battalions went up to 26th, with 8th to 13th as 'Service', and were much more of a North Wales connection.
However, at least two of the RWF Territorial battalion were in 53rd Division. I wonder if a clerical error crept in.
