Thomas WALL and Alice LANGSTON

Hello
Trying to find out some information regarding Thomas Wall and Alice Langston and their families.  Thomas was born about 1495 in Derbyshire England.  If this is the correct Thomas, he was 'Sir'. 
Conflicting information that Thomas died in 1559 or 1531, sites I have looked at say 1559 but on
http://www.oxford-shakespeare.com site it states he died in 1531.

I am totally confused, not sure if I have the right Sir Thomas Wall or not and if he is in my husband's line of family.

There is some information about him here but gives a date of 1539 for his death ? It mentions his will being made in 1531 8 years before his death. If there is a copy of his will available this should confirm his approximate date of death: -

Hi,

The will of Thomas Wall citizen and Salter of London was probated 14.8.1531.
Note it does not state Knight or Bart - so not Sir Thomas Wall.

The will is on Ancestry, or you can order online from Kew.

There was a Thomas Wall and his son Thomas Wall in Crich Derbyshire,  see page 16 http://www.crichparish.co.uk/webpages/manorofcrichbook.html

"Crich men who appear on the scene are Thomas Wall and his son Thomas who became the Chief Heralds in Henry VIII time. Thomas the son was Garter King at Arms when he died in 1537"
