Northern Scot, ( http://www.northern-scot.co.uk/Home/ ) carried an obituary notice on the 4/03/1981
page 12 column 7 for him. If you contact them, you may get a copy which perhaps will lead to further information.

Aberdeen Journal of 27th Feb 1934 has this -

DEATH. SMITH. —At Silverhill, Lossiemouth, on the 26th February, 1934, Ann Ramsay, beloved wife of James Smith, aged 73 years. Funeral private. No flowers.

my Great grandad owned silverhills peter Ramsay
Before that was Mrs  smith :)

Hi I know the Ramsay family that stayed at Silverhills, Peter Ramsay snr died 1981, but his son took over the farm after that, there is still a few family members in this area, the farm has since been sold to someone outwith this family.
