If all else fails could you do screen captures of the tree section by section.
I've never seen an Ancestry tree so maybe a daft idea.

You would than have all the info to rebuild on your PC using a family tree program or, as I have, using Excell.

I don't have a clue how to do screen shots lol, and you are way to clever if you know how to use excel

ok found it now thanks but its not free p and p and the box has been opened so unsure if that's going to be ok or not, and has it been used? who knows?

no I don't need to be able to work on it in the same way that I do currently, I don't mind reverting back to using books and such like, I just need something to store it on so I don't loose all the info I currently have

If you don't need to work on it or add to it, don't worry, even if you don't have a sub it will stay on Ancestry for you to see. Then, if at a later date you can afford a new sub, you can just pick it up where you left off.

Screen shots are very easy, and I don't use excel as such, I just insert lots of boxs I can write in. I only do it in excel because it gives you lots of space.
Have to go out now but I'll show you later what I mean.
