Just a few notes-

1943 Oldpark Back Row at 521 Oldpark Road 9. Ferris, Mrs. Elizabeth
     http://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/nopcomplete1943.htm

Robert Ferris who died 1919 married 1st Isabella Cahoon & had family, including son Hempson.

Could ‘Legmail St.’ be Legoniel St.?

Possibly the correct Robert Ferris & sister Elizabeth?
Bapt.: 1860 Robert Ferris, father    William John
Bapt. 1863 Eliza Anne Ferris, father William John

Everything does seem to fit.  When Elizabeth Ferris nee Beggs died, present at death, was her nephew Robert Beggs of 378 Oldpark Rd. On the 1943 Lennon Wylie, there is a Robert Beggs at that address, occupation welder.  Elizabeth only had one nephew Robert as far as I know, born abt. 1899, the son of  her brother George Augustus Chichester Beggs.
For the life of me, I cannot see John Ferris on Crumlin Rd. on Lennon Wylie in 1910. Brother John is listed as a flax dresser on both the 1901 and 1911. On Lennon Wylie, in 1910, I do find a John Ferris, flax dresser, at 12 Cupar Street. John is listed as married on both censuses but no wife present. On the 1911 census, John is on Crumlin.
Legmail St. could be Legonail, which could be a misspelling of Legoniel. I wonder if S. McIlhare is a relative, a medical person, or what, at Robert's death in 1935. As for his sister, she is listed as Eliza Ann on the 1901. On the 1911, she is still single, and a flax reeler.
I wonder if there was a sibling to Robert, also named Robert, born in 1860, who died and then our Robert was born abt 1861-62, as all other records indicate his birth to be abt 1862.

John Ferris is on Crumlin Road in 1910 directory- use find on your screen to get the correct one.

I wonder if there was a sibling to Robert, also named Robert, born in 1860, who died and then our Robert was born abt 1861-62, as all other records indicate his birth to be abt 1862.
More likely that Robert was baptised in 1860- ages do tend to vary from record to record.

I have now found John Ferris on Crumlin Rd in 1910 and 1918, as a laborer.  The address in 1918 is exactly the same as the place of death for Robert Ferris in 1935.  But the John Ferris on Cupar in 1910 is the one who is a flax dresser, as per John's occupation in 1901 and 1911. Hmmmm.
On Cussick Street in 1918, there is a Mrs. Ferris.
As for Legmail St., I did find one in 1943 with a Samuel McIlhare living at 2 Legmail as a laborer. He would be the one who was present at Robert Ferris' death in 1935. Samuel is also there in 1918.  So not Legoniel after all for this fella. I wonder the connection between Robert and Samuel.  I find a Samuel on the 1901,age 25, in Shankill, married to Elizabeth someone, age 22.

I wouldn't worry too much about occupation in directory being labourer- the directory wasn't an official record and there are errors. The important thing is the address and name matching in this case. You can look at the Valuation Revision Books (www.proni.gov.uk) to see approx. how long the Ferris family were at that address.

Well done for spotting Samuel McIlhare in Legmail St. (I had concentrated on finding Robert Ferris earlier).
Here's Samuel McIlhare & wife Elizabeth in 1901- suspect her occupation should be yarn reeler even though it's written as yarn reller.

Here there are in 1911- mistranscribed as McIlhane & Elizabeth is a flax reeler-
