These are the Paris archives online:
http://canadp-archivesenligne.paris.fr/Unfortunately, due to a fire in 1870, civil records pre-1860s were destroyed. There is an index on the archives site for the reconstructed records but will only give you a name and a year (if you are looking for confirmation of an individuals birth, marriage, and death in Paris from the late 1700s up to 1859 you may find it here, but the reconstructed records are by no means complete)
http://gallica.bnf.frhas lots of older books/newspapers, etc
Some references in old directories to the Rue du Bac address (a Boileau was there also in 1813 and 1826 at number 69), but not to first names.
http://www.archivesportaleurope.net/ead-display/-/ead/pl/aicode/FR-FRAN/type/fa/id/FRAN_IR_042147/dbid/C112690559 - a mention of a marriage contract in 1805, featuring a Sébastien Boileau, horloger of Paris.
On Google books I found this snippet:
Sébastien Boileau naît à Luxeuil (Haute- Saône) le 16 septembre 1772, et s'installe comme horloger à Paris ; on le trouve en 1805 au 30, rue de l'Hirondelle, près du Théâtre-Français, puis en 1812 au 69 de la rue du Bac. Retiré des affaires depuis plusieurs années, il meurt à Paris dans son logement du 12, rue Saint- Guillaume le 16 juin 1838, laissant un fils unique maître menuisier.
my translation attempt: Sebastian Boileau born Luxeuil in Haute-Saone, September 16 1772, and settled in Paris as a watchmaker. He was at 30, rue de l'Hirondelle in 1805 (same address as on the marriage contract), and at 69 ru du Bac in 1812. Out of business for several years, he died in Paris 16 Jun 1838 leaving one son, a master carpenter.
