My relatives Mike Martin & Mary Kennedy both from Co Kilkenny reportedly settled in a railway cottage in Killmacoo Athlone in around 1900. They had a family of three boys and five girls. That is all I know. Any further information will be helpful.

Have you found them in 1901 or 1911 census records? 1911 will list number of years married which may be useful if you don't already have that information.

However, I searched for the surname Martin, born Kilkenny and living in Westmeath in 1911 but there were no results- could the marriage have been after 1911? or perhaps they hadn't moved to Westmeath in 1911?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for
some time
many years!
