Welcome to rootschat, AngelaMary.

There are various discussions about Oakley Pyke on the internet.

Is this one of yours:

Although it is highly likely that the two are related, there is no absolute certainty, many people who are quite unrelated happen to have the same middle name.

yes that was my link from two years ago  and i am still researching this family and come across the Paul Oakley Pyke in Liverpool who migrated to London via Shropshire where he got married. My Paul Oakley Pyke 1814 also migrated to London [through his father] via Leicester where Paul was baptised. however i think that the two Paul Oakley Pyke's  are too much of a coincidence not to be connected in some way i think the Oakley bit is a lady's maiden name but cannot track her down she must be pre 1770

There is a Paul Oakley Pyke getting married at St Martin in Field, London, 1837.

From the London Gazette, 1848
Paul Oakley Pyke, late of No.36, Manor-street, King's road, Chelsea, Hair Cutter and General Shopkeeper and now of No.4, Roberts-row, Walham-green, Fulham, both in,Middlesex, Hair Dresser's Assistant.

Don't know if this is of any help but have you checked them both out?

Do you have this baptism for Paul from Lancsopc

Baptism: 9 Sep 1770 St Peter Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Paul Oakley Pike - Son of Edwd. Pike
    Born: 27 Aug
    Occupation: Taylor
    Register: Baptisms 1765 - 1772, Page 44, Entry 3

 http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html

It doesn't help to connect Oakley but there is a marriage for Edward Pyke, occ Taylor to Ann Adlan 6 Sept 1769  Liverpool

Edit- marriage took place at St Peter's Liverpool
