my Dutch ancestor Pieter Josephus Domenicus DE SOMER

I am trying to find any details regarding the birth of my Dutch ancestor (born 1821 in Breda - died 1802 in London, England).   His father was Petrus Domenicus De Somer, (b.1786 d.1820) and was married to Catharina Johanna Brejaart (1789 - 1825).

Records show that Petrus D De Somer died 9 February 1820 - which makes it impossible for him to have a son born 8 May 1821.

Can anyone solve this mystery for me, please?   . . . cmatt

He can't have been born 19 years after he died?! :-\

I guess 1902 might be correct.

At the beginning/first half of the 19th century, there had been very often cholera and other diseases.

A posthumous child had been quite normal.

I think the PJD de Somer who died in 1821 is the son of PD de Somer according to www.wiewaswie.nl.
