Which county?

Hi All

where should I post my help request its in Bellie which seems to come under Morayshire and Banffshire. The family were in Bellie until sometime in the 1850's then in Port Tannachy  Banffshire after that. The person I'm trying to find could of possibly  been born in Bellie or Boyndie as not sure if he's a son or brother due to his son being down as nephew on 1 census and grandson on the next but he is on neither. I don't want to cause confusion with duplicate posts  ??? Any suggestions pls.
