Perhaps he was born in Egypt, after the marriage but before they returned to England and had the other two children. Thus explaining why you cant find his birth.
When did his father die? Have you looked for a Will for his father or mother, as that might give more clues about him.
OR, maybe he was born before the marriage and thus was registered under Kurban, only using the name Jones when his mum married, but reverting to Kurban on adulthood.

Hey heywood

I know he was still alive early 1970s.. not sure what you mean check my sources??

I know they divorced sometime in the 60s and she remarried . am not looking her side ..

Hello,

Your response was "yeah the information i have was that he did it in 1959 by deed poll" which I had understood to mean that you had been told this and did not have the details of the deed poll.
Apologies, if I misunderstood.
Have you checked his marriage under his new name? I am not sure but there may be some indication on there - 'previously known as' or whether he names Mr Jones as his father.
Do you have the area where he was living in the 1970s to check for deaths there?
It all seems rather vague.

I agree Heyward, you seem know a lot about his life, so we need to know the full details, did he have any children, if so, just give the basic details and no names, he may have emmigrated

Hi and thanks for the info

the info i have is that the family thought he was born in Uk London 1926. he could have been born in Egypt the problem i have is i do not know his name before he changed it . the family think it was Bill Jones and in 1959 he changed it to his mothers madian name . he defy changed it before his marriage in 1959 to Ann this marriage lasted a few years and she remarried. he did have  a son with this marriage but the child was not named after his surname .

Tried to find marriage in eqypt but only knowing it was a jones . on his marriage it has him as william G Kurnban .  he worked with the bbd for years as sound recordist and is credit in lots of books as he claimed everest with climbers in 1970s this can be found under Bill Kurban.  tried finding a will of his father Thomas G Jones who married 1924. but nothing as yet.. he could have we'll emigrated and think that is a possibility .

May I please butt in to note there's a living person of that name residing in one of the Australian States.

thomas E Jones ..

May I confirm that it is just  this man who you are interested in finding?
I am concerned that the avenues available to search for the wider family are concerned with living people, even though none have been mentioned as yet.
