CANON MP520 PRINTER

Hope some one can help. The small viewing window on my printer will only light up all white without any info showing. The Printer prints ok, but I am unable to select 'Copy' or 'Scan' nor  change sizes and paper quantities as I cannot see the info on the blank Printer Screen. These are needed when using it as a copier without the aid of the PC.

Unless it's the screen itself you could try uninstalling the software & drivers & re-installing them.

As it's the printer itself it's unlikely to have anything to with drivers etc. Have you tried shutting the printer down completely and then restarting, also disconnect from the mains completely and plug back in and start. Might well be the printer is broken in this respect.

Thanks to you both. The prog. has been deleted and reloaded and all items covered. Think it must be shot. Thanks to you both.  Pete.
