If the Annie Davies that you found is the one that died 1965 age 77 years,
I don't think she is your Annie.

 That looks promising,  Right name, Spinster, Edward Street.
Just the age difference of 16 years  :-\     
Maybe recorded incorrectly along the way?

this looks like the birth for Annie Davies that died 1988

The entry I was looking at was the one that Sue found with the death in 1988. None of those other Davies are on my family tree so it might just be a coincidence that their was another Annie who was working as a weaver?

I've also got a request pending at the State Library to see if I can get a copy from the Ballarat Courier Archives of the death notices for their siblings John, Margaret and Susannah. It might mention any married names.
