Hi Lynne,
Melm here, bit of a fluke but I happened to look into Rootschat yesterday (after a long absence) and saw your message so checked to see if I had any connections with your relatives. Unfortunately I can't make any connections as yet but I'll keep an open mind.
My Beacocks  start with  John b. abt. 1776 Barnetby le Wold, wife was Sarah Carline, children (I know of) Mary Ann 1805, Sarah 1816, Henry 1822, Diane 1828 and William Carline Beacock 1808.
As you can see there are few gaps between births where others may fit in. This Beacock family ended up in Hull, Yorks. If you find any links please let me know.
My Wright family originated from Northamptonshire eventually settling in Barton, Lincs about 1858 so I don't think there's a link with your families.
Sorry there's no good news but at least it's another stone unturned.
Good Luck,
Melm

Hello Melm,

I have just sent you a personal message regarding the Beacocks.

I am a Beacock myself who lives in Hull, and I have a Thomas Beacock and believe that it he is the same as yours. If so, I am his great-great-great grandson.

Good Morning Tony,
I worked on this family tree for my mother-in-law's family a while back however if any of the info I have is relevant to your family you're more than welcome to it.
I'm listing the direct line of this tree for you to assess.

John Beacock b.1776 Barnetby-Le-Moor
Sarah Beacock b.1816-1870 Messingham
Thomas Beacock b.1841-1896 Melton
Thomas William Beacock b.1869-1939 Hull
Henry Hanson Beacock b.1898 -1958

If there's a connection let me know and we'll go from there.
Kind Regards,
Melm :D

I hope you are still around!  I realise this is an old post, but I am researching my Mum's family. Her grandmother was Rachel Sophia Beacock, born in Bonby and married to Charles Wright, blacksmith in Alkborough.

Her father was Joseph Beacock (1832-1921), and he had a brother George (1820-95) who married Jane Foster.
