Charles Hanrahan, who's wartime address was 5 Norbreck Close, Cinder Hill, Notts was a Flight Engineer on 97 Squadron's Lancaster ED816 that was shot down 12/13 June 1943 on an operation to Bochum.
Charles Hanrahan and my father Walter Layne served together on 97 Squadron and were prisoners of war together at Stalag Luft VI and Stalag 357.
In my father's POW "Wartime Log" there are 50 prisoners named,
https://wallyswar.wordpress.com/pow-log/ I am attempting to find a wartime photograph of each individual. So far of the 50 prisoners I have found photographs of 23 and am hopeful that through this site I might find a wartime photograph and have more information on Charles Hanrahan.
My efforts so far can be seen here.
