Don't know if this one ties in but due to the middle name thought it worth mentioning
Robert Alner Cake aged 27 years buried 27 th august 1848 holy trinity turners puddle
regards
alli

Ancestry has banns for Robert Alner Cake read in Bere Regis on 3 Sundays in July 1842 (not 1841 as transcribed - checked image in Banns book, sloppy clerk has not filled in year on page header but if you go back a couple of pages you can see it should be 1842). The bride is Anna Maria Clarke, both otp. Ancestry has marriage on 18 Sep 1842, Robert has no father listed. Witnesses are James Ballam and William Lane. Both bride and groom made their mark.
Robert is of full age Anna maria is a minor.

Added:
The only Robert Cake I can find in 1841 is in London - Davies mews in same household as the Taylor family. Robert is not born in county (Middx), but all the Talyors were so I suspect he's a lodger. No occupation listed, but most of the heads of household in the other mews are servants. So maybe a servant for the town house in front.
No sign of him on later censuses so he would fit with the Robert who died in 1848

More added:
Just found death reg for a Robert Cake Q2 1848 St Georges hanover Sq which fits better with the Robert in Davies mews.
Maybe have to look again at 1841 census with a few different spellings

Robert Alner Cake and Anna Maria baptised a daughter Elizabeth on 4th May 1845 at Bere Regis. Their residence was Bere Regis he was a labourer.
Robert Cake (no middle name recorded) was baptised in Turners puddle on 20th May 1821 mother Jane Cake single woman.
Looking at burial record for Robert, his residence prior to death was Wareham Union workhouse, as was Jane Alner Cake buried the following year as mentioned earlier.

Added: If they died in Wareham workhouse but were buried in Turners puddle, someone must have paid for the funerals otherwise I would have expected them to have had pauper's burials in Wareham.
Browsing the Turner's puddle burials, there do seem to be a lot of Cakes.

Jane Alner Cake was baptised as Jane Clarke Cake on August 20th 1848 at Turners Puddle. The register says she is the daughter of the late Robert Alner and Mary Ann Cake (not Anna Maria). The abode is Briants Puddle. So is the Mary Ann Cake who dies in Wareham workhouse just before Jane actually Robert's widow?
This may explain why her age didn't match very well that of the Mary Ann Cake at the beginning of this thread.

Added
Found baptism of Anna Maria Clark in Bere Regis on 12 Sep 1824 daughter of Samuel and Diana. This matches with father's name on marriage record and with a Ann Clark with a Diana Clark on 1841 census. Their ages would fit with being mother and daughter.

And to eliminate the Mary Ann Cake who married William Horlock in Dorchester reg district.
They were married at Athelhampton on July 24th 1855. She was of full age, spinster daughter of William Cake - labourer, he was a widower of full age occ groom, son of Sylvester Horlock occ shepherd. Mary Ann was from Athelhampton and he was from Piddlehinton.
