Ancestry has banns for Robert Alner Cake read in Bere Regis on 3 Sundays in July 1842 (not 1841 as transcribed - checked image in Banns book, sloppy clerk has not filled in year on page header but if you go back a couple of pages you can see it should be 1842). The bride is Anna Maria Clarke, both otp. Ancestry has marriage on 18 Sep 1842, Robert has no father listed. Witnesses are James Ballam and William Lane. Both bride and groom made their mark.
Robert is of full age Anna maria is a minor.
Added:
The only Robert Cake I can find in 1841 is in London - Davies mews in same household as the Taylor family. Robert is not born in county (Middx), but all the Talyors were so I suspect he's a lodger. No occupation listed, but most of the heads of household in the other mews are servants. So maybe a servant for the town house in front.
No sign of him on later censuses so he would fit with the Robert who died in 1848
More added:
Just found death reg for a Robert Cake Q2 1848 St Georges hanover Sq which fits better with the Robert in Davies mews.
Maybe have to look again at 1841 census with a few different spellings
