not as far as I am aware I have looked since and found a Benjamin Coley in West Brom with parents James and Mary but his occupation is a smith not boatloader
I think that Benjamin went on to marry a Mary Ann and was still living in West Brom in 1871

No, we never did manage to find any further information on Benjamin or his father James. We think that perhaps James married Mary LOCKLEY but have not been able to confirm this.
