It is a funny one isn't it, shame it's not full length as you said, the hemline would speak volumes.   Thank you for giving up your time, cos you know I'm always very appreciative of your opinion!    I'm happy to go with early 20s as there is more evidence for that period than against...although reprint screams at me!

Not too sure it's a reprint, but it's not a very professional job. Offcenter and a little wonky. Wonder if it might be a home development job.

The double scallopped hem of the overdress really has a 20s look, but any later than 1922 it would probably be a dropped waist.

Lovely photos you've got there Caz ...   it's easy to  work on a good scan  and there wasn't any real damage ...a lovely exercise  ...love the detail on the dress....  you're  lucky to have such a lovely pics in your collection . Here is one  keeping to the original as much as possible..... XX
