Germany stopped printing postcards just after WW1

This pic is such a contradiction.  The card stock may have been printed in Germany, but there is no question the address on the front is James and Church Sts, Liverpool.  The stamp imprint as we both agree is 1918 onwards.

I also wish we could see the hemline, but everything is pointing to 1918+.

She just has that stylish elegance of the Edwardian era.

Over to you China....

The cross over blouse with the three quarter length sleeves and the hairstyle were popular around the 1909 - 1912 period if that helps..

It does and it doesn't.. ;D, that confirms what we thought about the photo being Edwardian, but the card stock appears to date post war, so I'm going to stick my neck out and say possibly a reprint.

Thanks for your input John, very much appreciated.  :)

I'm thinking very early 20s. Hair across the forehead, although not too much, scallopped hemline of the surcoat, and the back of the card. It's really a bit ambiguous, isn't it. Sorry I can't do better  :P

Still, such a lovely photo :)

Cheers,
