Hello, after many years I am still trying to track down more information on William Thomas Potter. He was born on 11 Jan 1908 in 11 Farm Rd,Pontlottyn,  South Wales. He emigrated to Canada on Departure date: 15/8/1928
From: Southampton
To: Quebec
DOB 1908
Occupation Miner.
Last address:41 Lady Tyler Terr./Rhymney
I know that he was alive about 1951-1953 and there my trail runs dry. I know that he must hav e passed away by now but it would be lovely to find out about his Canadian family and where he is buried.  Any help on this "brick" wall would be gratefully appreciated.  Cheers Avril

Thankyou for your help. I will looke at the online family of the Hibbards because I know that family has a link with mine. Though I am not sure about the death. I have found one in the same place but the parents are not the right ones on the certificate. Again many thanks.

Yes, the birth date was wrong in the info Ciderdrinker gave - that's why I put the parents on. Unfortunately the privacy laws are vey strict in Canada (British Columbia would have been easier) There is no BMD index so its quite difficult trying to trace people.
