Help wanted Census

I am trying to find information on a family called Vause. Joseph Vause born burton salmon 1821. He married a Ann from brotherton born abt. 1829. I can find them in Rawcliffe in 1871 onwards but not before although I think someone told me it is n ancestry.

Please help, thank you

He is there in previous censuses :)

Yes he is there with wife Ann in 1851/1861. 

Birthplace slightly miswritten (Burton Salmoe and Barton Saboner) so maybe that's why you haven't found him but his name is spelt the same :)
