Howards Of Kent

We have two streams of Howards to research and are trying to find a link.Both streams were in the barging industry and we have gone back to William Crump Howard 1764 Stifford,Essex although all his eight siblings were born in Stone next Dartford and Swanscombe.
We now know his father was Israel Howard 1743 who married Elizabeth Crump in 1763 in Swanscombe but cannot find his birthplace or his parents in order to see if the link with the Tower Hamlets/Bethnal Green stream exists at an earlier time and went on to produce James Howard c1770 who married Ann Simmons at St Brides,Fleet Street in 1793.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi,
There is an Israel Howard baptised 16 Nov 1746 in St George Bloomsbury parents Israel & Anne there are siblings also but unfortunately due to the date no other details e.g. occupation etc.
Israel & Anne Jones were married 16 July 1745 (Clandestine Marriage Register) at the Fleet.

There is also a baptism record 5 Sep 1743 for Elizabeth Crump in Swanscombe parents Daniel & Elizabeth & a second baptism of an Elizabeth Crump 24 Aug 1746 Swanscombe parents Daniel & Elizabeth. Maybe the first Elizabeth died?
