Any help with my mysterious Marquand branch would be wonderful. Most of the information I have is from wills.
Charles Marquand, a builder, lived on Horseferry Road, Westminister. He made his will in 1764, added a codicil in Oct 1767 and the will was proved in April of that year. He was of the parish of St John the Evangelist.
Charles son John Marquand became an architect. About 27 Feb 1764 he married Mary Cuthbert, widow of William Corry. Mary died about 1772. John died in Brixton, Surrey in 1810. John, when he died, was of the parish of Lambeth, Surrey.
It is not known whether John had daughter Sally with Mary or another woman. Sally was likley born in the 1770s.
I know this isn't much to go on but any help would be great!
