Oh that's disappointing but at least you have dad and the family name fits.

He should be in 1901 census then  :-\

In the indexes, there is a Dominico Bonini but he is only 34 yrs living with his brother Peter 38 yrs in Largs, Ayrshire.

Where did your Dominico die?

He died in 2 Baird Street, Govan, Glasgow. I have found an Alien entry which I think his him in 1841, but it tells me very little information.

Where does the information re Caserta cone from? Is it verified?
Do you have Ann's death? Her maiden name may help re marriage details.

Caserta has come from a family member, so it isn't solid.

I have located the church marriage record, Ann's maiden name was Regan and they were married in Dublin

Yeah Stephen's father John married a Letita Lazaroni. The Lazaroni's were figure makers, which is what Domenico Bonino is listed as in 1842 Alien Entry form. Makes me think this is the right person, but that is all the information included on it

Yes I saw the Lazaroni connection previously. I think her sister married a James or John Martin.
It's a pity that there is no evidence of your Dominic in their church records.
