It looks like Charles must of died or they split as she was away from home for 4 years.

Where were they in 1891 census?
Ireland, Co Antrim: Kerr; Hollinger; Forsythe; Moore
Ireland, Co Louth: Carson; Leslie
Ireland, Co Kerry: Ferris
Scotland, Perthshire/Glasgow:  Stewart
England, Devon/Cornwall: Ferris, Gasser/Jasser/Jesser, Norman

Looks like she may have died Sept Q of 1905 Stockport age down as 65  ::) There's no death in Scotland for her.

Are we on the wrong trail??
If this lady died in 1905 she can't be working in 1915 in a WW1 at Scottish Womens Hospital :-\

Well with 18 years out on age you'd have to consider that Looby

Just realised that.
Mary born 1867 would be 38 in 1905.
I can't find her on 1891 Census Scotland or England.

Alan, you know we love challenges here on RC  ;) I think now though to move forward on this Mary, someone needs to pay to view at least the marriage cert for Mary to Charles that has been found by Fifer in 1889. Without this you have no idea whether it is the right marriage (likely, but needs to be confirmed) and also further details on Charles.

So, likely married 1889. Missing in censuses in 1891. Looby found a very possible entry for Mary in 1901 working in England and showing as married. Possible entry in 1911 in the Midlothian area for a Mary H Green aged 43. That is where it is at for now...

I understand, where can i look into the marriage cert?  Many of the women i look into i find with out to many hitch's, Mary is more elusive.
