Herald Sun Look-Up - 2004 & 2007

Hi All

Was wondering if anyone has access to the Herald Sun (Melbourne) to be able to do a look up for me. I am looking for the death notice of Linda May Cleary (published Herald Sun 31MAY2004) and the funeral notice of her son Gordon Ernest Cleary (published Herald Sun 03MAY2007). Both publication dates taken from the Ryerson Index.

Do you have the correct person?

The Ryerson Index shows that Funeral notice for Gordon Henry CLEARY 3 May 2007 in the Herald Sun.

My typo - his father's middle name is Ernest. Henry is definitely the middle name.

there is no listing for either of these names.  Not sure why that would be 

Perhaps try the " Ask a Librarian" http://www.slv.vic.gov.au/services/ask-librarian
at the Victorian State Library.  I have had wonderful results when I have made a request
to them.

I have found on a number of occasions that even if the death/funeral notice is on the Ryerson Index, it does not come up when  you search Herald Sun Tributes.

"Ask a Librarian" I can only hope that you get a helpful librarian. I recently used this service and was not happy with it. I know there was a Rootschatter that got excellent service from them just recently.
