i am struggling still with research on my muirs from scotland

Hi i have been gathering little pieces of my tree over the years and have just found out an uncle played football for aberdeen fc,i put a couple of posts up but i am unsure what i should be writing other than just what i know about my uncle.
muir,barr,horan,costello,marren,donnelly,ayr,kilmarnock,dundonald,campbeltown,mayo,ireland,paisley

Have you contacted the club? I would be surprised if there wasn't someone associated with the club who would have information about your uncle's playing career.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

There are books on the history of the club. It would also be worthwhile looking at the newspapers. The Aberdeen Journal/Press and Journal and the Aberdeen Evening Express would both have accounts of matches etc. There would perhaps be an account of his career when he died.

i am sorry i have upset you with my post on the 17th i honoured that by replying and apologizing to the other person who gave me a hard time. i was ill over weekend and didn't realise as i was unsure about birth place so didnt see it as a problem but it must have been so i asked for ayrshire one to be removed  but thank you for your observations just a pity you didn't say ii had asked for duplicate to be removed,
