Like a very many others, this kind gentleman assisted me no end in my research.  So generous with his time.  My thoughts are with his family.

Sadly I have only just read this post.  My deepest condolences to his family.  Owen was  a true gentleman in every sense of the word.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those needing help and  advice.  Many of us would not have made progress in our researches had it not been for his willingness to share his knowledge.

so sad to hear this.......owen helped me quite a bit in the early days he was unstinting in his assistance to others.........my condolences to his family he will be missed
