I have since found tha....mary mables husband charles thomas neill died in ww1 in 1915 .. they only had 2 children at that time ...she remarried charles frank barfield in around 1918 so i wonder if lesley may have been an unexpected arrival in between . I know leslie lived in sallyport terrace newcastle at some point after he returned from a stay in London.
