John Hogg
« on: Monday 05 January 15 14:22 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to trace John Hogg born 1889 in Drogheda, Co Louth, Ireland. His parents were James Hogg and Margaret Kelly. I have him on the 1901 Irish census. I am looking for records for him after he left Ireland.
I have a passenger list for him Hogg is spelled Hogge on this passenger list.
He was on board the Lucania and arrived in the US on 28th February 1909. Going from the passenger list it looks like he went to Portland, Oregan. It says he was visiting his Father P Hogg which I believe he lied on this as his Father was James Hogg who died in 1899.

This is one of my brick walls and would appreciate any help in finding where he ended up, if he married and had kids etc...

Thanks.

I'm not sure if he's your guy, but there is an entry on the death index for a John Hogg who died 1911 - http://genealogy.state.or.us/

Does your guy have a middle name or initial?
