Terence was born 1816 in Lissanymore, Killinkere. Cavan .He married Rose A McDonald early 1830's.Children Thomas,margaret, Anne, Patrick, Rose, Catherine, Mary all born in Cavan
They all came to South  Australia in June 1854 on board ship Fortune... Another son was born in Australia... Ship list shows the McMannas....
I have searched all Irish sites available to me ,,,, but nothing..... any help appreciated..

Is the fact that I have had no replys mean that there are no records before 1864? Is there anyway I can get information from Church Records? Is there anybody who does paid research in this area

Civil Registration of non-R.C. marriages began in 1845.  Registration of all births, deaths and marriages began in 1864.  Before that you are reliant mostly on church records which tend to be patchy.

As an example, PRONI in Belfast has the following R.C. church records on microfilm for Killinkere:

Baptisms, 1766-90, 1842-62 and 1864-80; marriages,1766-89, 1842-61 and 1864-80.

A personal visit is required.  They also have Church of Ireland and Presbyterian records for the area.  I assume the same records are available in Dublin.

You originally posted only 2 days ago so it's a bit soon to be asking why no replies. Rootschat is a forum where many people from all over the world volunteer their expertise and time to help others so you need to be patient. Remember that many early records do not survive and of those that do not all are online.

Meanwhile there are things that YOU can do such as look at the resources at the top of the Cavan board (there's even a section on church records) and topics in the Ireland Resources board, especially these two topics-

As was said previously older Church Records are patchy,however if you want to try the R.C. Church in Killinkere,their email address is :killinkere@kilmorediocese.ie.
I am assuming that is the denomination.

Don't think their religion was mentioned, no point in wasting time checking C of I if they were Presbyterian etc etc..

Actually, Presbyterians can be found in Church of Ireland records since the C. of I. was the Established (State) Church for many years. Presbyterians burials were often in C. of I. graveyards, etc.

As far as 'I have searched all Irish sites available to me' that means very little since we have no idea what sites the OP searched for and I'm fairly certain that many of the Irish researchers here will know lots of sites that the OP has not checked.

Just to say the sites I mentioned do not seem to be easily accessible or known outside Ireland.
In the period mentioned all McManus Families were Roman Catholic.
