Alexander's family of Dublin 1650-1780

William Alexander. B. 30/06/1826. D. 17/01/1892. married Fanny (or Frances)Geraldine Alexander nee Armstrong13/01/1856. she B. 1825? D.05/08/1888.
William's father was Thomas ('gent') married before  1823? Ann Carroll at Ballinasloe. Her father was Thomas Carroll.
 His father Thomas is the one who I would really like to find. or the Carroll's side of the family

Frances Anne Alexander  B.1865 sister to John Armstrong-Alexander.

I can post more details of William's family but will wait to see if this information is wanted.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Wasn't sure if you knew about all these children since you only mentioned the youngest 2 (born after registration). There's at least one person (perhaps yourself) has posted details on various forums looking for the same information.

There's even a post by another member here on Rootschat- they haven't been online for a few years but you might want to send them a PM (Personal Message)-

Have you tried searching old newspapers for earlier family details?

As you may have guessed that was me.

  I've traced much of my families even back to Viking king but Alexander's & the troubles it's very difficult.
