Thank you that information was very useful and was the correct person.  I am also looking for descendants of this family who may be interested in communicating. To my calculation including my uncle William Wood Neilson who passed away 1987 in Australia there were 16 or 17 people William Wood Neilson. This being the case it is very hard to put them all in the correct order. This family is from Scotland in the Falkirk area. There are three branches of the family living in Australia.

You still haven't told us exactly how we can help you. You say there were 16 or 17 William Wood Neilsons you've found but we still haven't a clue which one you are asking for information about. This isn't a forum for tracing living people and we aren't allowed to post details of anyone who might still be living but we can help with information on earlier relatives or suggest resources you can check next.
