George W Bruerton Sr 1832-1902 - England - Needs Restoration

This is a photo of the father of the groom in the "1907 Wedding" thread.  Was hoping to have this one restored to glory. Unfortunately it is really old and rough but I have seen miracles on this board. Thanks

Ideally I think it would look great to have a double line oval (Period) around his head.  And then a nice border around the entire photo.  Then if someone could "stamp" in the frame his name and years in a gold script to make it look like a period photo.

These are just my suggestions but I am excited to see what anyone comes up with.

wow..that it awesome!  Thats more than photo restore...that's pure art!  Amazing the detail you put into it.  It really brings his soul back.

I have no idea how you do that but it looks like an actual painting with the brush strokes and all.  I assume it is with a pen tablet or something but it looks great.  Amazing how neat you made the old photo turn out!!!  I didn't think I gave you restorers much to work with but you all are proving me wrong.
