hi we are looking for as many names of pubs and the licensee / managers in Huyton from the 1960/65 please,

Where are you based?  Are you in or near Merseyside?  If so you could see Kelly's Directories at one of the bigger libraries.  The Liverpool editions covered Huyton, and the commercial section of each annual volume had a list of pubs, hotels etc, with addresses.

oakes,liverpool..neston..backford..poulton cum spittal(bebington)middlewich,cheshire......   sacht,helgoland  .......merrick,herefordshire adams,shropshire...tipping..ellis..  jones,garston,liverpool..hartley.dunham massey..barker. salford

dear garstonite and Ainslie so sorry for not getting back but have only just seen this , I am getting so old !thank you for that and I will go to huyton library and see what turns up,thank you both again.
