Well the Union Jack is obvious, there is a thistle, also I believe they are tudor roses. Braiding etc is usually gold, the embroidery possibly red on a beige background.
I can get the uniform colour and the badge colour. The crown etc I can also make educated guesses based on others found on the net.
With his colouring, the grey shades and tones usually give an indication of hair and eye colouring (i.e. his hair doesn't appear to be too dark so I would guess at light to mid brown, same with eyes, possibly hazel.). It's guess work, and in my opinion coloured photos are just for fun and to give an indication of what they may have looked like, so shouldn't be taken too seriously.
Of course if you could identify him and find his service record, then we would know his colouring for sure.
