Location help required with these Military Photographs

I have these 2 images in a family album but cannot identify the places. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, it seems the top one (the rather grand looking place) has been taken over as a convalescent home for the troops.

Does the fellow sitting on the left in the top photo only have one leg?

Yes, his crutches are on the ground next to him, as does the soldier sitting on the opposite end, these soldiers  are wearing hospital uniforms and have wounds or illness and are recuperating, The building as stated has probably been a grand home and used as a convalescent home.

Another thought, I wonder if the troops in the bottom photograph are all local to the area (Pals etc) and are posing for the picture on the steps of what was the recruiting centre where they all signed up.

Hi again, I have tried to enlarge the photo but it becomes pixelated, I am trying to get a look at the cap badge's in the bottom photo, not sure but am wondering about the Lincolnshire regiment.
Is there any connection in the family.
