Trying to learn more about Hugh Munro born 1870, Oldshoremore and Mary McCulloch born 1870 Creich; they married 1893 Invergordon. Have found one daughter Jean (Jeanie) McFarlane Munro born 1896 Rosskeen and died 1926. They are all buried at Tain.

What information do you already have about this family? What would you like to find out? If you haven't already checked the censuses, that would be a good place to begin. From a rapid search of the 1901 census transcript on Anc'try, they seem to have been at Calrossie, parish of Logie Easter, where Hugh was a ploughman (birthplace Kinlochbervie though it is horribly mangled in the transcription). There is a 40 year old Hugh Munro in the parish of Tain in the 1911 census index on ScotlandsPeople. I'd advise checking out both censuses on ScotlandsPeople (1911 is not available online elsewhere); the 1911 census would tell you if there were any other children, dead or alive, and also when the parents' married. Well worth paying to see the actual records.  Hope this helps.

Thank you. I have Hugh's birth and recently learnt about his marriage, daughter's birth; and their burials. Until then, no trace of him. I was wondering if any more children, and about Mary's family. Her father was Alexander, mother MS is difficult to read. I will look into purchasing the 1911 census.

Have you had a look at the Tain Museum website. I think Calrossie was famous for its herd of shorthorn cattle & owned by the MacGillivray family.

You could try Mary McCulloch/Munro's birth and death registrations for her mother's maiden surname too.
