Wolstenholme Family of Heywood and/or Heap
« on: Saturday 27 December 14 21:55 GMT (UK) »
Hello from Ontario, Canada

My ggg grandfather was James Wolstenholme. He was born April 17, 1836 in
Mill Heywood and sometimes recorded as Heap. He married Mary Evans Aug 3 1857 in
Bury. I am trying to determine who James' and Mary's parents were. Any help on this
would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nancy

Welcome to  RootsChat.   :)

James father was Richard Wolstenholme, a painter
Mary's father was Charles Evans, a picker maker

Have a look at http://lan-opc.org.uk/ for lots of transcriptions and extra information.
