WW1 Army Service Records

Hi Can anyone help me to trace the service records of my Great Grand Father. His name was George Roddick Cunningham, he was in the Royal Engineers 1914 to 1920 Number 90337.

It would be a good idea to give his date and place of birth too if known.

Hi He was born 1878 in Aberdour Scotland and died in 1953 in Crewe Cheshire.

I found my great uncle through this website and some of the info was corroborated by
Imperial War Museum. Also if the person is listed their service number is given which will help find other info

You should be aware that about two-thirds of the WW1 Service Records were destroyed in a WW2 bombing raid! ::)
