I was merely sharing that photo. It's smaller than the photo of Daniel by himself so I don't expect anything from it results wise, perhaps it could also reach others interested in this line?
I could hopefully rescan those as early as next week :)

On a side note is retouching hard to do or is it a simple photoshop process? ???

To do it well is hard and painstaking work (despite what the title of your thread suggests  ;D)

The title was me going from memory, then I saw the photo and it has a lot more creases than I remembered haha. Sorry for being misleading  ;D

Sorry my mistake!  That will be great if you can rescan the photos.

Restoring is a lot of fun so if you are keen I suggest you give it a try.  It does require a lot of patience and practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's a rewarding hobby.

There are a couple of free programs on the net (can remember the names off hand) you could try your hand at to see if you enjoy restoring before outlaying money on Photoshop (I use Photoshop Elements. It's reasonably priced and does most things the full version of Photoshop does).

Of course, you don't have to just restore old photos, but you can also have fun enhancing new ones as well.

There are also tons of tutorials to help you out on the net (plus the nice people on the restore board!  ;D ).

Look forward to getting the better scans!

If you are looking for a free photo manipulation program, it is worth trying "Gimp", although it will take a long time to Master.

Hi...I've had a try with second photo and kept the cloudy look that you eluded to that you liked.

Hi Mark

That's good news, considering how much these photos mean to you, it's worth the effort to get a better scan!  :)
