Had to do this one twice.  Lost power for about 3 seconds, long enough to lose the restore.  Second time that's happened to me in two days!

I meant to ask if you had the original photo?  If so, can you rescan it at 300 dpi and resize the file to just below 500kb and post it again.  The pic you posted is only a tiny file at only 59kb and doesn't give you much to work with.  ;)

Haha thanks for the welcome Caroline  :) Thank you heaps for the new image without creases!!! I don't have a lot of photos of my grandfather, it truly means a lot to me. I don't have the original any longer as my father keeps them well attached to him (I don't blame him.) I will keep that in mind for the future.... I assume all images would be better in the larger scale mentioned?
Cheers,
Mark.

Yes please.  Also scan in colour, even if it's a black and white photo.  :)

If you ever get your hands on the original, then make sure you repost!  ;)

I sure will!! I have another I'd love to get done of him and his wife also where it has a big white area in the corner from exposure.
Would it be possible to resize the images from when I open the image and select edit? (windows computer)

This is that photo mentioned above. I came across this one shortly after I lost my grandmother who was known in my family as "Bomma". The photo represents to me what I'd like to think she found on the other side, the white playing the part of the clouds.... and back in the arms of her Daniel  :)

Mark.

PS. Sorry for the mini life story but these two images are very cherished by me.

No need to apologise, that's a beautiful sentiment.  :)

Sadly again this is only a tiny file.  We can certainly have a go, but we could do so much more with a proper scan.

If this is how it was sent to you, then there is not much you can do to make it bigger.  If you can request the sender to rescan it for you at 300dpi and send you a really big file, that obviously would be  preferable.
