Family of Ethel Maud Payne b1898 West Ham

I am looking for any information on the family of Ethel Maud Payne who married a William Lowe in 1919. I can find no information on him at all. Can anyone help me please?

I think that you may need to purchase the marriage certificate to confirm who their fathers were

Hi if you apply for the marr cert from GRO Southport, you will need volume 4a page 343.
Good luck. There are a quite a few Ethel Maud Payne's who could fit the bill in the London area.
Hard to know which one is her.

Hi, keep this for the back burner. As Ethel married William Lowe in West Ham in 1919 she probably came from that area. There is a birth in 1898 in West Ham of an Ethel Maud Payne ref Dec quarter 1898 4a 16. The 1901 census ref rg 1564 42 12 shows Ethel born West Ham aged 2 with parents George Allen Payne- occupation cooper and mother Clara and various siblings. Of course £9.25 for the marriage cert will confirm this or not.
